2024 IAA China Day: Li Guiping, CEO and President of CIMC Vehicles, Delivered a Keynote Speech on "Star-chained Manufacturing Network – CIMC Vehicles' Third Venture"
The IAA Transportation 2024 was held from September 17 to 22, 2024, at the Hannover Convention Center in Germany. On the second day of the event, the organizer, the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), in collaboration with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automotive Sub-Council (hereinafter referred to as CCPIT–Auto), hosted the 2024 IAA China Day. Mr. Li Guiping, CEO and President of CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd., participated as a guest and delivered a keynote speech.

The 2024 IAA China Day, themed around openness, cooperation, and mutual benefits, showcased the technological research and application achievements of commercial vehicle companies from China and Germany in areas such as new energy and intelligent technologies and products. It explored the prospects and pathways for continued in-depth cooperation in new fields, jointly envisioning a bright future for the global commercial vehicle industry.
At the conference, Li Guiping, CEO and President of CIMC Vehicles, delivered a keynote speech titled?"Star-chained Manufacturing Network – CIMC Vehicles' Third Venture." He introduced the vision and goals of the "Star-chained Manufacturing Network": by integrating resources from seven domestic semi-trailer factories under CIMC Vehicles, the program aims to enhance production efficiency, shorten delivery cycles, and reshape branding and sales, thereby achieving a leap in profitability. The attendees showed significant interest and highly praised the discussion on CIMC Vehicles' third venture and the relationship between the Star-chained Manufacturing Network and new productive forces. Li Guiping emphasized that the Star-chained Manufacturing Network is the core initiative of CIMC Vehicles' third venture and serves as a testing ground for cultivating new productive forces. The advanced productivity established by the Star-chained Manufacturing Network can both alleviate "involution" and support complex intercontinental operations.
